How do I apply as a Vendor for the 33rd Street Fair?

How do I apply to participate with my Food Truck?
Click the red "Get Tickets" button on our Eventbrite page, select the Food Truck Vendor option, and complete the prompts!
Can I participate if I want to sell food, but don’t have a Food Truck?
Yes! Click the red "Get Tickets" button on our Eventbrite page, select the Food Booth Vendor option, and complete the prompts!
What are the booth sizes available and what is the cost?
Choose from a 10’x10’ or 20’x10’ space outdoors. Add another ticket for more space. Fees vary depending on the size of the space required. Pricing info is shown during the application process.
What is the cost for Food Trucks and Food Booths?
Fees for Food Trucks & Food Booths vary depending on the size of the space required. Size of space allotted for a Food Truck is 20’x10’. If your Food Truck requires more space, choose 1 Food Truck ticket & add 1 Vendor (10’x10’) ticket to your order. Food Booths can purchase up to 2 Vendor tickets.
Can I share a booth with someone else?
Yes. We ask that each Vendor register and pay separately. Note in the additional comments that you will be sharing a booth, stating the name of the person you will be sharing space with.
People are coming to help unload & help me at my booth with my items. Do they need tickets too?
No. 1 ticket per Vendor. It is not necessary to get additional tickets for others who may be at your spot keeping you company or helping to load/unload items.
What are the set up and take down times?
Setup is between 7:30 and 10AM. Everyone must be set up before 10AM, when the 33rd Street Fair begins. Take down begins at 5PM and we ask that you remain set up until then. Please take away all your garbage and leave the street in the same condition in which you found it.
Can I choose my booth location?
You can request your top 1 or 2 preferred locations by block. Booth locations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration increases your chances of securing a preferred block!
When do we receive information regarding location and load in?
We will contact Vendors with their location and any additional load in information by email in the week before the 33rd Street Fair.
Where will my Food Truck be located?
We will contact you to discuss location. Please make sure to include a mobile phone number where we can reach you.
Are there any health and safety requirements?
All Vendors must follow all local health and safety regulations as applicable to their situation and the items they are selling—whether merchandise or food and beverages.

Where do I find the Temporary Food Service Event Vendor Application forms and what is the deadline?
Follow the link for the Temporary Food Service Event - Vendor Application. When completed, this must be submitted to us at [email protected] by August 10, 2024 to give time for approval by Saskatchewan Health Authority. For forms submitted after that date, there is no guarantee of participation.
Is there any food or item that I may not sell?
No sales of alcoholic beverages, chemicals, weapons or fireworks of any kind. All items for sale must comply with local laws and regulations.
Is power or water available?
No. There is no access to power or water. Any Vendors needing power and/or water will need to plan to bring a portable generator or other power source, and water as needed. To limit noise pollution, we request only quiet generators be used.
What site amenities are available?
An ATM is located inside Mayfair Convenience Store. Portapotties and a hand wash station will be onsite, as well as garbage bins, and recycling bins. The Showmobile stage with seating will be onsite, plus table & chair seating for outdoor dining. Bike racks are located within the BID.
What other activities will there be?
In addition to great shopping, there will be live music from the outdoor stage, buskers, an entertainment circle, face painting, balloon twisting, kids activities, games, and more!
Who can apply to be a performer and how to apply?
Bands, musicians, singers, dancers, or other solo or group performers, jugglers, puppeteers, magicians, fortune tellers, balloon twisters, party characters, mime/clowns, henna or caricature artists, painters, spinners, weavers, or other kinds of makers looking to perform or demonstrate their talents, can apply to perform at the 33rd Street Fair by filling out our 2024 33rd Street Fair Performer Application. We appreciate everyone's interest. Only artists who have been selected for more information will be contacted.
Are pets welcome?
There are no formal restrictions. Pets must be on leash according to the City of Saskatoon Animal Control Bylaw #7860 and must follow all other bylaws. Animals that are felt to be threatening or a nuisance will be asked to leave.
Where do we park our vehicles after unloading?
Parking is on the side streets around the 33rd Street Fair. After unloading, we suggest that you park a few blocks away so that Street Fair attendees (a.k.a. your customers) have somewhere to park when they arrive. Please observe all loading zones and no parking signs—temporary or otherwise.
Can we use the FreshCo parking lot for unloading/loading or for parking?
No, the FreshCo lot is reserved for FeshCo customers only. Security will be monitoring the lot.
What if it's raining?
RAIN or SHINE it'll be a go! Please plan for all weather possibilities to ensure an enjoyable & successful day! If it’s raining first thing, we'll set up & hope for the best—many rainy mornings become lovely days, however we may have to make adjustments to the event based on the weather at the time.
What if I don't want to be out in the rain?
We understand if you choose not to set up for the event or if you choose to leave the fair earlier than 5PM in bad weather. Above all, we want you to be comfortable with your situation. Please keep us informed.
Is this event free for the public to attend?
YES! The annual 33rd Street Fair is always free for the public to attend.
How will the 33rd Street Fair be promoted?
We will promote the 33rd Street Fair on social media, radio, posters, through the businesses in our BID, in the surrounding communities, and throughout Saskatoon.
How can I help with promotion?
Word of mouth can be one of the best ways to spread news and raise awareness. We encourage Vendors to promote their involvement in the 33rd Street Fair by word of mouth, on their social media, and through their channels to reach the widest audience and attendance!
Will you have posters available for us to use?
Yes, absolutely! We will forward a .PDF file of our poster to you.
