Join us on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the 11th annual 33rd Street Fair when 33rd Street closes for the day between Avenues C & F to bring together our business district with the community to enjoy local food, fun, and music! Starting at 10AM until 5PM, we welcome enthusiastic crowds coming to explore and experience unique vendors, local artists, activities, shops and boutiques along our street.
We can't wait to welcome our you back and enjoy all that the amazing 33rd Street community has to offer. This family-friendly event promotes community and camaraderie. Meet new people, and connect with your neighbours in a lively and festive atmosphere. There’s something for everyone at this fun-filled event!

10AM Brian Paul DG & Friends – On his own or with others, along with his voice, acoustic guitar and harmonicas, Brian Paul D.G. presents a unique blend of original songs along with well known and loved traditionals in a story-telling-folk-roots-acoustic-country-gospel-blues-easy-listening-comedic and/or rock-a-billy kind of way!
11 AM Doc Rock & The Far Side – The Boyz have been playing music together off and on for about 15 years now. Music for Folks is a good description of the product. Some folk, some 70, 80’s pop, some Blues, Bluegrass and just a touch of Rock n’Roll! Three part harmony and skilled instrumentation are high on the menu.-) Enjoy!
12 Dallas & Phil Boyer – Dallas & Phil Boyer are a father & son from Saskatoon Saskatchewan. They have been playing Métis & Old Time Fiddle for the last 30 year's. They are joined by their good friend & Bass Player Barry Day.
1PM 8 Track Throw Back – Saskatoon's Oldest Garage Band who play a wide variety of Country Rock/Classic Rock. Led by Darrell Freistadt, this four piece band has 40 years experience and has a song for everyone young and old.
2PM Dudley Manor – From the ashes of several now defunct bands, the members of Dudley Manor have gotten together to have some fun performing the songs they love to play!
3PM Eddy Robertson Electric Blues – Eddy Robertson Electric Blues Band.....One of the premiere blues bands in Saskatoon for many years.....Band members are: Eddy Dagenais, band leader, lead guitar and vocals, Tim Hatcher, harmonica and vocals, CC McGhee, drums and Lynn Victoria, bass guitar and backup vocals.
4PM Koricancha – The Quechua word for Temple Of The Sun has been together since 2008. The members range in age from 18 to 61 and are from Peru, El Salvador and Chile but now call Saskatoon home. We are self-taught and have learned to play Andean flutes, charango, guitar and bombo (drum.) We all have different music, education and work backgrounds, but share a deep love of traditional Andean music. The band is proud to share their love of traditional music and folk instruments, their culture and heritage with others.

Graduate of the US Naval School Of Music, served in the 19th Army Band US Army Ft Dix NJ. 50 years as a professional musician playing Saxophone. #saxkatoon The soulful smooth sound of Midtownyxe. Available for Conferences, Restaurants , Bistros and Coffee Shops, Corporate Events.
11:30 The Gopher Broke Orchestra - Mark grew up going to oldtime dances in small town community halls and one room schools and sometimes sat in with some of the players who pioneered the genre. Mona spent 17 years playing music with her family band on the streets and stages of Canada, USA and Europe. Together they bring a mix of old country, swing and rock and roll classics, Appalachian hoe down and Saskatchewan dance standards.
They have recently been joined by “Li’l Mark and Mona”, come on down and meet them.
12:30 de Laforest and Knowles - Kim de Laforest and Doug Knowles share their love of folk music and fiddle tunes in this duo. Expect to hear some of your favorite tunes and artists. You might even feel like dancing to a jig or a reel!!
1:30 Neil Stubbs - Neil Stubbs moved to Saskatoon from Calgary in 1976 when he was 19 began his career as a band musician. Neil played accordion and keyboards in a succession of dance bands in the city. He teamed up with his wife Nancy in a duo and are still playing 30 years later. He's also won regional and international awards as an instrumentalist in the Country Gospel Music Association.
2:30 Aryn & Mitch - Blending old-time and Celtic styles with their Saskatchewan roots, Aryn Murray and Mitch Dureault captivate their audience by delivering original's telling powerful stories & high-energy tunes that reflect their passion for the music they create.
3:30 Ray Richards - Born and raised in Melfort, Ray settled into Saskatoon after spending 20 years in the Canadian Army. He is a one-man-band that plays a wide variety of musical genres, but has a soft spot for anything Irish/Celic. He creates a laid back, “kitchen party” vibe during his performances and encourages others to come up and sing along with him.

2024 33RD STREET FAIR VENDOR TIMELINES
7:30AM - 10AM Set Up: Welcome Vendors! Check in begins 7AM. Set up will begin starting at 7:30AM, and go until 10AM when the 33rd Street Fair begins. We ask that everyone is set up before 10AM.
10AM - 5PM 33rd Street Fair: Visitors are welcomed to 33rd Street to enjoy local food, fun, music, and good cheer. Throughout the day, there will be activities, entertainment, and lots for fair-goers to see and discover!
5PM - 7PM Take Down: Time to tidy up and head out! Clear all garbage and other items and leave the space in the same condition as it was upon arrival. All Vendors and Vendor vehicles are to be off site by 7PM.

Can I participate if I want to sell food, but don’t have a Food Truck?
Yes! Click the red "Get Tickets" button on our Eventbrite page, select the Food Booth Vendor option, and complete the prompts!
What are the booth sizes available and what is the cost?
Choose from a 10’x10’ or 20’x10’ space outdoors. Add another ticket for more space. Fees vary depending on the size of the space required. Pricing info is shown during the application process.
What is the cost for Food Trucks and Food Booths?
Fees for Food Trucks & Food Booths vary depending on the size of the space required. Size of space allotted for a Food Truck is 20’x10’. If your Food Truck requires more space, choose 1 Food Truck ticket & add 1 Vendor (10’x10’) ticket to your order. Food Booths can purchase up to 2 Vendor tickets.
Can I share a booth with someone else?
Yes. We ask that each Vendor register and pay separately. Note in the additional comments that you will be sharing a booth, stating the name of the person you will be sharing space with.
People are coming to help unload & help me at my booth with my items. Do they need tickets too?
No. 1 ticket per Vendor. It is not necessary to get additional tickets for others who may be at your spot keeping you company or helping to load/unload items.
What are the set up and take down times?
Setup is between 7:30 and 10AM. Everyone must be set up before 10AM, when the 33rd Street Fair begins. Take down begins at 5PM and we ask that you remain set up until then. Please take away all your garbage and leave the street in the same condition in which you found it.
Can I choose my booth location?
You can request your top 1 or 2 preferred locations by block. Booth locations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration increases your chances of securing a preferred block!
When do we receive information regarding location and load in?
We will contact Vendors with their location and any additional load in information by email in the week before the 33rd Street Fair.
Where will my Food Truck be located?
We will contact you to discuss location. Please make sure to include a mobile phone number where we can reach you.
Are there any health and safety requirements?
All Vendors must follow all local health and safety regulations as applicable to their situation and the items they are selling—whether merchandise or food and beverages.
Is there any food or item that I may not sell?
No sales of alcoholic beverages, chemicals, weapons or fireworks of any kind. All items for sale must comply with local laws and regulations.
Is power or water available?
No. There is no access to power or water. Any Vendors needing power and/or water will need to plan to bring a portable generator or other power source, and water as needed. To limit noise pollution, we request only quiet generators be used.
What site amenities are available?
An ATM is located inside Mayfair Convenience Store. Portapotties and a hand wash station will be onsite, as well as garbage bins, and recycling bins. The Showmobile stage with seating will be onsite, plus table & chair seating for outdoor dining. Bike racks are located within the BID.
Are pets welcome?
There are no formal restrictions. Pets must be on leash according to the City of Saskatoon Animal Control Bylaw #7860 and must follow all other bylaws. Animals that are felt to be threatening or a nuisance will be asked to leave.
Where do we park our vehicles after unloading?
Parking is on the side streets around the 33rd Street Fair. After unloading, we suggest that you park a few blocks away so that Street Fair attendees (a.k.a. your customers) have somewhere to park when they arrive. Please observe all loading zones and no parking signs—temporary or otherwise.
Can we use the FreshCo parking lot for unloading/loading or for parking?
No, the FreshCo lot is reserved for FeshCo customers only. Security will be monitoring the lot.
What if it's raining?
RAIN or SHINE it'll be a go! Please plan for all weather possibilities to ensure an enjoyable & successful day! If it’s raining first thing, we'll set up & hope for the best—many rainy mornings become lovely days, however we may have to make adjustments to the event based on the weather at the time.
What if I don't want to be out in the rain?
We understand if you choose not to set up for the event or if you choose to leave the fair earlier than 5PM in bad weather. Above all, we want you to be comfortable with your situation. Please keep us informed.
Is this event free for the public to attend?
YES! The annual 33rd Street Fair is always free for the public to attend.
How will the 33rd Street Fair be promoted?
We will promote the 33rd Street Fair on social media, radio, posters, through the businesses in our BID, in the surrounding communities, and throughout Saskatoon.
How can I help with promotion?
Word of mouth can be one of the best ways to spread news and raise awareness. We encourage Vendors to promote their involvement in the 33rd Street Fair by word of mouth, on their social media, and through their channels to reach the widest audience and attendance!
Will you have posters available for us to use?
Yes, absolutely! We will forward a .PDF file of our poster to you.
