As a kid, Mike was fascinated by toys, pop culture, and everything odd and peculiar, and, he was equally enthralled by campy horror and sci-fi movies and punk rock. When travelling, he often found fascinating boutique stores unlike anything he’d ever seen back home with funny, outrageous (and occasionally… ahem, crude items) which fed his ever-growing curiosity for these things. Mike decided he had to bring the ridiculous, odd, and unusual home to Saskatoon.

In 2015, Mike opened the doors to the now infamous Glitch Gifts and Novelties, affectionately known as "Glitch", specializing in bizarre, quirky, off the wall, premium and fun gift items from around the world and the internet. Glitch carries anything from unicorn hand puppets by Archie McPhee and Luchadore masks to socks by Sock It Too Me and Tupac and Eazy E Air Fresheners, plus sooooo much more!

In addition to selling the most fun and ridiculous things they can find, Glitch has a large selection of retro candy, wacky candy, imported candy, and some candies that you can’t find anywhere else in Saskatoon. An added bonus for folks to discover in the back of the shop is the Glitchy's Oddities Museum! Inspired by dime store museums and whimsical roadside attractions, Mike opened the museum with the goal to make Saskatoon a more weird and wonderful place while providing a new experience for the city, The museum is a mixture of real vs hoax, fact vs fiction, and it's left completely up to you to decide!
